Refund Policy

Short version
If the AI action plan does not save you at least 5 hours of manual SEO research in your first 30 days as a paying customer, we refund your first paid invoice in full. You keep the $1 trial fee. You keep every report and action plan you generated. One refund, ever. The full details are below.
1. The promise
Vantacron runs on a single plan, $89 per month, after a $1 three-day trial. We are a small team. We do not have a sales team. The offer is the offer, and if the product does not save you time, we would rather give the money back than keep it.
The 5-hour guarantee is a commercial promise, on top of any statutory rights you have as a consumer. It is also the reason we can stand behind the rest of the site with phrases like "no exit interview, no support ticket." The rules below let us say yes fast without saying yes to abuse.
2. Eligibility and the 30-day window
The guarantee window starts on the date of your first paid invoice, not on the day you signed up. If you start the $1 trial on June 1, the trial converts to a $89 charge on June 4, and your 30-day window runs from June 4 to July 4.
The window must be open when you submit your claim. A claim submitted on day 31 is too late, even if the audit was generated on day 2.
The refund is for the first paid invoice only. If you have been a customer for six months and decide the product never worked, the 5-hour guarantee does not cover months 2 through 6. Those months are governed by the standard cancellation terms in our Terms of Service.
The refund amount is exactly what you paid on that first invoice. For monthly subscribers that is $89. For annual subscribers that is the full annual price paid at signup.
3. What "5 hours saved" means
"Saved" is honest-reporting, not audited. The time we are talking about is the time you would otherwise have spent on the work Vantacron does for you: going issue by issue through a crawl, reading SEO articles to interpret what the audit flagged, deciding which fix matters first, building a prioritization spreadsheet, drafting the action plan you would hand to a developer or a writer.
If you ran a single audit, our benchmark is that the action plan replaces roughly four to twelve hours of that work, depending on the size of the site. If you ran ten audits, the cumulative time is what counts.
We do not ask for timesheets, screen recordings, or project logs. We do not run an exit interview. The guarantee is the one-click button on your billing page. The trust is the trade we are making: we believe the math works, and we are willing to be wrong about that for a few percent of users.
4. How to claim
Sign in, go to Account > Billing, and click Get my refund. You see the invoice we will refund, you confirm, and the refund is initiated. We process refunds the same business day. Stripe typically takes 5 to 10 business days to land the money back on your card.
That is the whole flow. There is no support ticket, no email thread, no "tell us why" form.
5. The four anti-abuse rules
The guarantee is a real promise to real customers. To keep it that way, four rules apply. None of them are designed to catch a one-off lie about whether the action plan was useful. They are designed to stop systematic abuse: signing up, refunding, signing up again.
We do not advertise the rules in the marketing copy, because that would punish the 99% of users who never think about this. We publish them here so the policy is enforceable.
Rule 1: One refund per account, ever.
If you have already received a refund on a Vantacron account, you cannot claim another. This applies regardless of how the first account was created or closed.
Rule 2: Within 30 days of your first paid invoice.
Your claim must be submitted before the 30-day window closes. Claims submitted after are denied, even if the underlying work was generated inside the window.
Rule 3: First paid invoice only.
The refund is for the first paid invoice on the account. Subsequent months, if any, are not refundable under this policy.
Rule 4: One refund per payment method, per 12 months.
We check the card fingerprint (a token Stripe gives us, not your card number) against refunds processed on any account in the last 12 months. If a different account used the same card and got a refund in that window, the new claim is denied. This is what stops the "new email, same card" cycle.
The rules are enforced automatically. If a claim is denied, the reason shown on screen is plain language, and the underlying data is available to you on request.
6. After the refund
Once the refund is initiated:
- Your subscription is cancelled. We do not renew it.
- Your account is moved to the free plan, which keeps read access to your existing reports and action plans.
- The $1 trial fee is not refunded. You keep every report and action plan you generated during the paid period.
- The refund record (invoice, amount, date, payment method fingerprint) is retained for 12 months for fraud prevention. After that it is deleted.
7. Your statutory rights (EU/EEA)
The 5-hour guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on digital services under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (Distansavtalslagen), as described in Section 5 of our Terms of Service. The guarantee does not replace that right and does not limit it.
If you are a business customer (not a consumer), the statutory 14-day withdrawal does not apply, but the 5-hour guarantee still does.
